In January, we pray with Pope Francis for those experiencing religious discrimination and persecution: may their rights and dignity, which originate from being brothers and sisters of the human family, be recognised.

‘Faith leads a believer to see in the other a brother or sister to be supported and loved’.

– Pope Francis

Our Focus for January

  • After Christmas is over and we’ve packed away the decorations, it’s easy to feel a bit flat. But we know that’s not how the gift of Christmas works! Let’s keep the spirit of Christmas with us as we journey forward.  Find our reflections for Epiphany, and a beautiful short film about getting ‘back to normal’ here>>
  • 2022 is a special year for Missio – it’s 200 years since Pauline Jaricot, a young lay woman from France, was inspired to organise a weekly penny collection  for the missions among factory workers in Lyon. This small act grew into the Red Boxes through the Association for the Propagation of the Faith – the global family that today is Missio! Read more about Pauline’s extraordinary life of faith here>>
  • If your New Year’s Resolution is already feeling a bit overwhelming, we’re not surprised! We’re taking a gentler approach to 2022join us!
