Our first Mission Together Mass of 2024 took place on the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul at St Theodore’s Church, Hampton.

Arranged with the support of Fr Philip Baptiste, Mission Together’s Diocesan Director in Westminster, this wonderful Mass brought together over 120 pupils from nine Catholic schools and was a beautiful celebration of faith, friendship, and global Church family.

Headteacher, Mrs Carmel Moreland from St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School, shared later:

‘Yesterday’s Mass was really beautiful – we thoroughly enjoyed it. We are really pleased we came – it was a wonderful celebration; bringing the children together – thank you.’

Missio Local Secretaries from attending school parishes were also invited to the Mass, two of whom – Miss Jennifer Collier-Gibbs and Miss Rossyln Collier Gibbs of St Theodore’s Parish – were presented with a long service medal by Missio’s National Director Fr Anthony Chantry.

Fr Philip and Missio’s Mission Together team are so grateful to everyone involved in making this such a special event! We hope to replicate these deanery-focused Mission Together Masses across Westminster diocese.
