In February, we pray with Pope Francis for the sick who are in the final stages of life, and for their families; may they always receive the necessary medical and human care, and the accompaniment they need.
‘That the vocation to love and care for another brings with it the rewards of eternity, is made explicit by the Lord of life in the parable of the final judgement: inherit the kingdom, for I was sick and you visited me (cf. Matthew 25: 31-46)’
– Pope Francis
