In November, we pray with Pope Francis for all parents who mourn the loss of a son or daughter to find support in their community, and for the Spirit of consolation to bring peace to their hearts.
‘God’s love is stronger than death. As Jesus raised the young man from the dead and “gave him back to his mother”, so he will do with all our loved ones when we meet again, when death will be definitively conquered in us.’
Our focus for this month
With the feasts of All Saints and All Souls this month, our hearts and prayers naturally turn to those loved ones who have gone before us into God’s loving embrace. If you have someone you remember especially this month, please let us know. We record the names in our Books of Remembrance and pray for them all during Mass in the Missio Chapel.
