In October, we pray with Pope Francis that listening and dialogue will permeate every level of the Church, and that she will let herself be guided by the Holy Spirit towards the peripheries of the world.

‘We can rediscover a symphonic Church, in which each person is able to sing with his or her own voice, welcoming the the voices of others as a gift to manifest in the harmony of the whole that the Holy Spirit composes.’

– Pope Francis

Our focus for October

October is Mission Month! Please join us during this special time for the Church’s global mission – to give, pray and set hearts ablaze as part of the global Catholic family!

  • World Mission Sunday is on 22 October – a special day in the Church calendar when the entire global Catholic family comes together in support of the missionary Church. Missio is the only charity with a mandate to support all mission dioceses. We are the Pope’s official charity for world mission! To find out more and donate to #WMS2023, click here>>
  • Our daily reflections are a great way to increase time with God each day – mini-moments in your day to stop, breathe, and pray. You can find our Mission Month daily reflections, which focus on the Church’s mission around the world, and the part each of us has to play in it, here>>
  • This Mission Month, we want to bring people together – at home and across the world! Will your parish set hearts ablaze for Mission this October with our special fundraiser? Find out how you can get involved here>>
