In July, we pray with Pope Francis for Catholics to place the celebration of the Eucharist at the heart of their lives, which profoundly transforms human relationships and enables us to come closer to God and our sisters and brothers.

‘We receive Jesus who loves us and heals our fragilities in order to love others and help them in our fragilities; and this lasts our entire life.’

– Pope Francis

Our Focus for July

  • Coming together to celebrate the Eucharist is the act which not only brings us together with our Church family at home, but also binds us together across the world. Throughout the summer and autumn, Missio will continue to hold special Mission Masses and events across the dioceses of England and Wales. We’d love you to join us! Find your Mission Mass here>>
  • With the school holidays just around the corner, many of us are looking forward to more time with family and friends. Keep faith front and centre (and younger ones occupied!) with our Prayer Prompts – a free downloadable resource that can be used in so many ways. Find it here>>
  • Could you organise a summer fundraising event for our sisters and brothers overseas? From sponsored walks to zumbathons, gardening week to open air cinema, there are so many ways to get together, have fun and raise funds for world mission! Find out how here>>
  • July is the birth month of one of Missio’s founders, Blessed Pauline Jaricot. We continue her legacy through praying and giving in support of world mission. Find out more about her here. You could even plan a Novena to Blessed Pauline – find ours here>>
