On 19 April, the Holy Father prayed the Rosary at the Marian Shrine of Mamã Muxima (Mother of the Heart) in Kimbundu, Angola.
At this important site of welcome and sanctuary, Pope Leo XIV spoke to an estimated 30,000 pilgrims and led the Rosary – focusing on the glorious mysteries. Inspired by this wonderful event and filled with the joy of Eastertide, let us pray our Mission Rosary asking our ‘Mother of the Heart’ to guide and protect us as we bring the Good News of her son to the world.
‘Like Mary, we too are made for heaven. As we journey toward heaven with joy, we look to her as our good mother and model of holiness. Following her example, we bring the light of the risen one to the brothers and sisters we meet.’ – Pope Leo XIV
