Grant that your people, we pray, almighty God, may be ever watchful for the coming of your Only Begotten Son, that, as the author of our salvation himself has taught us, we may hasten, alert and with lighted lamps, to meet him when he comes. Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

We are ten days away from Christmas. Today I remember, not only to wait with joy, but to hasten towards Christ as he comes: ready and equipped to welcome him to the world.

Pray with Missio

We pray for the people of the Philippines and the missionaries who walk alongside them. We pray especially for the Badjao community, and the Nano Nagle Centre which supports them.
