My words will never pass away
Jesus told his disciples a parable: ‘Think of the fig tree and indeed every tree. As soon as you see them bud, you know that summer is now near. So with you when you see these things happening: know that the kingdom of God is near. I tell you solemnly, before this generation has passed away all will have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.’

– Luke 21:29-33

Thought for the day

As I prepare for Advent, I open my eyes and my heart, so that I may see the signs of God in our present time. I answer the call to plant my feet in the age that God has placed me in; to be alert to his plans for me, and to be a useful servant, always working to increase good and thwart evil.

Pray with Missio

Today we pray for the people of Cameroon and the missionaries who help and accompany them. We pray especially for Fr Innocent and his team, who are planting trees and gardens today to nurture the environment and people of tomorrow.
