In March, we pray for nations to move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and for world leaders to choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence.
‘God never blesses violence, he never approves of taking advantage of others, or of the frenzied abuse of the one Earth that is disfiguring Creation, a caress of the Creator.’ – Pope Leo XIV
Let us pray and work for peace in Cameroon
With your support, the missionary church in Cameroon provides refuge to families fleeing the ongoing civil war. Fr Noah MHM shares:
‘When war broke out, our mission compound became a battlefield between government and rebel forces. Our parish car served as an ambulance for the wounded and dead.
‘Lent was a special time of grace. Guns fell silent and people turned to God. Both sides attended Mass on Ash Wednesday. It was a season of forgiveness and renewal. We pray for a complete ceasefire, that we may celebrate Easter with joy as people of hope.’
