In March, we pray with Pope Francis for those who have suffered harm from members of the Church; may they find within the Church itself a concrete response to their pain and suffering.

‘The Church’s aim will thus be to hear, watch over, protect and care for abused, exploited and forgotten children, wherever they are’ – Pope Francis

Our Focus for March

  • In March, we hold our supporters in Wales especially in our hearts and prayers! Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! Bearing in mind St David’s suggestion to do the little things, let’s use this month to make our Lenten contribution count in many small ways – which add to big change.
  • The first Friday in March is the Women’s World Day of Prayer. As we remember the importance of listening and hearing the voices of our global human family, we recommit ourselves to opening our ears and hearts to those who are suffering or in pain.
  • 11 March marks the beginning of the Novena to St Joseph – our annual nine days of prayer with our partners the Mill Hill Missionaries (St Joseph’s Missionary Society). Join us to pray: you can follow here or join us on Hozana to get daily alerts.
  • Mothering Sunday is on 19 March this year! Let’s remember to give thanks for our lovely mums, grandmas, and all those beautiful people who care for and look after us no matter how old we are!
