Last week saw the World Day of Human Fraternity, and seventh Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, which takes place in Abu Dhabi, recognising ‘initiatives and individuals working to advance peace, human dignity and solidarity across divides.’ In our troubled world, we give thanks for all those who strive for peace and fellowship. May God bless them and keep them safe, and may Our Lady walk with them and guide them as they work to heal rifts and build bridges.
‘What is most precious and universal in our humanity [is] our fraternity, that unbreakable bond which unites every human being, created in the image of God. Today, the need for this fraternity is not a distant ideal but an urgent necessity.’ –Pope Leo XIV
Thank you for joining us each week for our Mission Rosary – Missio’s beautiful way to pray for the world.
