Inspired by the Parable of the Sower, Pope Leo’s Angelus reflection on 19 July reminds us that faith happens in small, quiet ways. In our often overwhelming and chaotic world, let us pray during our Mission Rosary this week that we will be receptive to moments of quiet discernment, small encouragements and simple acts of kindness – and that, always following Jesus’ example, we too will take every opportunity to create such moments for others.

Instead, God favours smallness, a sign of his discreet love, by which he leaves us free to accept or reject him.
