Throughout the year, Mission Masses and Mission Animation events take place across England and Wales to celebrate all things ‘mission’, pray for missionaries and come together in prayer. Please do check back to this page for gatherings happening near you.

If you’d like to talk to someone about arranging a talk from a Missio representative in your parish, please get in touch.

Mission Masses are a joyful celebration of the Eucharist and a chance to celebrate our faith and our missionary Church. They are also an opportunity to hear the experiences of missionaries who have served communities around the world: a special moment for our supporters, volunteers, and anyone from the wider Catholic community to gather in celebration of Mission.

We come together in dioceses across England and Wales to:
  • PRAY for missionaries and the communities they serve
  • MEET Mill Hill Missionaries and listen as they share their experiences
  • GET INSPIRED to be a missionary in our own parish communities, by supporting the Red Box.
Everyone is welcome!

Whether you’re an existing volunteer or supporter, or simply curious about missionary work, you are so welcome to come and find out more. We especially invite those who support the Mill Hill Missionaries and Missio through prayer and donations to the Red Box.

After Mass, stay for refreshments and conversation. This is your chance to ask questions, learn more about Missio’s work with our partners the Mill Hill Missionaries, and connect with others who share your passion for our missionary Church.
We look forward to celebrating our faith and missionary spirit with you!
